just collected another spawn at 10pm. No idea when the release was. I had the pumps off while I played Left for dead. I now have 2 fry about 3-4 days old. A whole bunch of prolarvae from the other day and a couple dozen eggs i collected tonight and no substantial rotifer culture. *sniffle.

if you visit my youtube in my sig I have several older videos of larvae in a kriesel.

I just ordered some s strain from seahorse souce this afternoon. They wont be here until friday. Im trying several alternatives until then. Coral frenzy for one...lol.

I screwed up royaly last night. I turned off the pumps so the mandarins could spawn. Afterward I left them off to feed the coral. I woke up this morning. to them still off. No circulation, no heat, nothing. Tank was 73 degrees. All the amphipods in the display DEAD. My cleaner shrimp DEAD. The wrasses DEAD. My Mandarins Jack and Sally....DEAD! My squamosa doesn't look so hot. I dont even have time to do water changes to keep the rest of the tank from crashing from all the death. My wife has a induction ceromony in a little bit then we have to go way out to yorkville for a b-day party.

I took this picture last night not knowing it would be the last time I would see them alive.

For the past few days I have been working on putting together the long awaited 75gal tank. I tricked my self into thinking I could save money by building my own stand.

Should be able to park a car ontop of it.

I skinned it in maple. My first choice was cherry but one factor was price and the other was lack of trim selection. Maple wasnt much better though.

I used my old 20gal as a sump. Hopefully its big enough. Ill find out.

I'm sorry for your losses that really sucks. I keep telling myself I'm going to get a timer for my pumps so when I forget it just turns back on.. I've come close with my clown system a few times. Its so easy to do. I like your stand. You may not have saved much money but it looks much better than a store bought stand and you built it with your own two hands.

Stand looks great

In the end it might have cost more than a store brought, but it's far better quality ;)
