Guys -
I have to say from an objective stanpoint - you can't pin this on Grossman. The D got you there, and the D let you down. Colts ran through your D like a knife through Butter. If the Colts would have held onto the ball more, they would have won by a few more touchdowns.
I also agree about abandoning the run - oops, they couldn't abandon it because they never ran at all. I mean come on. Grossman did not get you to the big dance - it was the D and the Running game.
Lastly - I am sorry- Lovie was Thurston Howells wife, not a football coach. Couldn't you at least give him a manly nickname or something? Seriously, a great guy, a good coach(usually, not this game), but Lovie????
And to be honest - it was Tony Dungy's day. The guy is a class act, and long overdue for the SB win.
Well, Brett will be back next year, and if they can get him some real receivers, the Pack can whip up on you boys twice next year and all will be right with the world.....
A Packer fan, with a soft spot for the Bears.
PS - We lost a super bowl too remember - it takes about 2 weeks fo r the sick feeling in your gut to go away, just drink a lot of beer and you will be ok.
