Daily time-lapse

Any easily accessible way to do a time lapse besides posting 365 pix via photobucket.

I was thinking it'd be cool, as I'm starting a new tank, to take daily pix of the tank or at least a few corals, over a year's time. Then over the year, scrolling through the pix.

There wouldn't be much, or any difference from pic to pic, but in time, scrolling through would give a cool effect of watching the corals grow before our eyes.

Anyone ever see, or try this?

Any tips?

I would suggest get something like this:

You could mount it on the wall or near the tank so your POV is always the same.

And set it up to snap pictures on a daily/hourly schedule, dump them to a drive, then compile in movie maker
I was planning to do the same thing.

Great idea! I would love to hear what other solutions people have.

votek, that camera has pretty bad reviews. Have you personally used it? Any good?

No, I just did a newegg search to find something as a suggestion. I would definitely avoid stuff with bad reviews like that.
:)

Moreover, I am sure most people with broadband and u-stream could get a little collection of streaming tank cameras going
