I bought this ric almost a year ago....for a very good price (under $10).
I got it cheap because he said it was the common green ricordea,
which it was when I got it.

Well, its amazing how this color has changed...I don't know if its a common thing with ricordeas, but its one of my favorite ones now...

I know the picture is not great...but as you can see, the rims turned into a nice ice blue, andthe tips of the bubbles are purple.
And, if you noticed...its been splitting!

Looks good, I have seen pictures of them progressing in color in the wild. Great find!

Often the color depends on your water parameters. I've seen two baby rics, from the same mother, in two different tanks both different color. And they were the same when they were together in one tank.
