Damage prevention

Does anyone have any great ideas on how to prevent water damage to inside of the stand from sump evaporation or water damage? I could just apply the waterproof poly but dont really want to tear apart and move everything. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

They have spray on Polly, just take the sump out and cover what you need to, and spray it on.. Less tear down than the whole tank

I have Vinyl like tile on the bottom of my sump. If water spills no worries

you can spray or paint on a poly or vinyl, depending on how well you can cover equip so the spray doesnt get in your system. Hand paint would be safer as you only have to worry about drips, not airborne paint.

Another way is to use an idea likebambam did under his sump, and put a cheap stick on vinyl to the walls and ceiling of the stand, should be relatively easy to cut to size.
