Damaged mouth - Angel

Anyone know what this is?

Angel was in QT for a month without issue. Treated with PraziPro only. Noticed a bit of discoloration to its mouth while in QT but nothing I felt alarmed about. After being in my DT now for a few days this is getting worse and a bit alarming. Everything is pointing me to mouth fungus but it looks like to me skin is missing not growth on top, but what do I know?? Could it be damage from collection and just got worse?

If I pull out and treat, what with?

Is it contagious?

I don't know what that is, but I'd be willing to bet it's something bacterial in nature. Sometimes you'll see "mouth fungus" listed on the packaging of fish antibiotic medications - even thought true fungus is quite rare in s/w fish.

If this were my fish I would QT & treat with Furan-2.

I had a coral beauty a few months ago that developed the same thing as your angel. It had this for about a week than it got worse quickly to the point that there was a hole in the bottom of its month. It died the next day but none of my other fish got the disease and i still don't know what it was.
