I get an email from a LFs and they have these for sale. Not sure what type of damsel it actually is. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

It looks like something in the Stegastes genus. You will want to know a Latin name for sure, since a lot of damsels are ugly as adults.

I think it’s that. You’re right, looks like it gets “large” and ugly. Too bad, they’re super cute and colorful when juveniles.

If it is, aside from being an ugly adult, that is a NASTY genus of damsels.
