Do yellow tail damsels dig?

mine didnt. he did hide a lot though and I never saw him eat, even when I fed live brine (which IME all fih I have had love). I do plan to add 1 or 2 to my 75g at some point.

I know others have different experiences than I have, but I have had a few types of Damsels and found them all to be like having poltergeists infesting my tank. I consider them demon spawn.

I noticed a LFS in Louisville offers a "lease" arrangement by which you can make use of their large Grouper for "Damsel removal service." That pretty much sums up my view of these fish.

many damsels are very, very aggressive, or devil spawn, as one might call them. yellowtails are actually fairly peaceful fish, and while they might become a problem if a large one was added first to a tank, a small one added last shouldnt e too bad in a tank that has fish that can hold there own.

my yellow tails were great , very active, ate algae, very hearty fish

I have four right now. Three are in quarantine and one is in my 47 gal. None of mine dig.

I plan on adding all of them and maybe a few more to my 280 gal.

Blue w/yellow tails are great little peaceful fish that you almost forget you have in your tank. I have had one for almost 3 years and he is docile as can be. He has this little section of my tank that he hangs out in and every once in a while will chase a fish but nothing serious. I also have a 4 stripe that isn't really too bothersome. My tomato clown now that is a whole different story.

The Green Chromis is also a relatively peaceful damsel. I've had a group of them with only minimal aggression, even with a significant difference in size.
