Dancing Shrimps

Hi all.

I've recently added 2 dancing shrimps (1 male & 1 female) to my coral only nano tank (well plenty of hitch hikers).

They are now getting more brave and moving away from their cave.

I just need to check the advice that I was given by my LSP - that they graze from what they can scavenge in the tank and I don't have to worry about feeding them.
I don't have any fish in the tank so there is no existing feeding program at the moment

Those are Camel Shrimp (Rhynchocinetes durbanensis). They're not reef safe and will start nibbling on your corals. Sorry

Yup I've found them munching on my xenia frags.

So I've moved all the xenia into the sump area in the tank.
So far they seem to be leaving the mushrooms alone.

I guess the moral here is to check info twice.

Do I need to feed them anything or will they be ok grazing from live rock.

I would feed them. Some marine pellets should be fine.
