Do three XR15 gives you enough light coverage? Could you tell us how far from the water surface they are and what intensity levels are you using?

I'm looking at the same tank, but I'm thinking to use a pair of Kessil AP 700.

Sorry had lots of work but here is the update to my sump area .

Here is another small update been dealing with some turf algae but is under control got a few more coral , wall hammer ,zoas , ricordeas ,chalices and pick up a pair of blacker ice clownfish. Sorry for the iPhone pictures need a camera ASAP .

yes 3 is good coverage im also using the TIR lens .

Can you post a photo of the reactor pipework, as i cannot see what you have done with the reactor output. Edit: ignore that, just saw your first post and it is there.


The feeding of the topup resorvoir is exactly as i was planning, good to see it done for real.

Interesting how the 650 has a aluminum frame which the stand is based on. The 525XL is not.

Is the stand "Ikea quality"?
