Hello everyone my name is dan and I am from the great state of Virginia. This is not my first reef tank but it is my first reef tank that I am going to put a lot of time and effort into. I have had small tanks in the past but just graduated college and now finally have some time to invest in this hobby/lifestyle that we all love. After looking around for quite some time I decided I wanted to purchase a Red Sea Max 130d. I plan on doing a lps based tank with very minimal rock structures. This is my first thread on reef central but after reading around this is deffinity the site i wanted to share my tank adventure with. Any one is welcome to follow along and advice and suggestions are always wanted. Also if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Hey guys just giving you a quick update. the stand is up and the tank has been assembled. My ro/di unit is working great!! The typhoon 3 is really a great product. I have washed the sand out and will be mixing the saltwater tomorrow. I hopefully will have water and rock into the tank by monday!!! Will post all the pictures tomorrow!! Also got received the dry rock in today from reef cleaners. Looks Great!
