Darn hermit crab....

Hermit crabs can accidentally kill your clams. I was doing some tank clean up and startled a hermit. He fell into my 6 inch gigas. The clam closed with the hermit inside and the rest is history.

You mean the crab ate the clam or the clam like choaked? Are you serious?
Sorry I don't have clams but I was thinking about adding one to my tank.

The hermit crab added a few more inhalent and exhalent siphons while the clam was closed with him inside. The clam died.
