I love bengals
So I am wondering if anyone has any nice pieces of this. I searched it and read a few people had trouble with it. I only found a few pics so if anyone has any please post them. Is this coral a branching type of porites?
 
Found a piece! Very happy, it was under t5's the whole time it was grown out and now its under my halides so I am wondering how it will do. The pic was taken a day after I put it in there.

Yea I found a piece locally, imagine that. Only one store online I saw had it and they said it would be out of stock for a while. I really want to find someone who has kept one and grown it out! The polyps are out so that's a good thing. If anyone has successfully kept one for a while let me know where you kept it and all that.
 
Good luck with it. I knew of one LFS that had a huge chunk of it and he lost the whole colony in a move I guess.
 
I put it in a crevasse that should cover it from any high flow and it's in the middle of the tank. For now it seems happy so I will probably leave it there.
 
Well I was looking for info on pricing frags of this because I am cuttin it for a local meet and came across my old thread so here is a pic of my piece now.
 
Thanks, it's the best deep red I have seen yet. And for almost two years of growth I would say it grows darn slow.

I would love for people that have a piece to post their pics!
 
Bottom of the tank and I run halides, good flow. It's recently been in a Rubbermaid tub in the corner with just a bit of light from a 400w 14k ushio.
