DAS tank help

Anybody ever take the filter box out of a DAS tank? If so how did you do it? Have any tips? I am trying to get this out so I can make the tank reef ready. Any suggestions and pointer would be appreciated.

I cut mine out with a long sharp utility knife. Buy a box of blades because you'll end up breaking them. Be VERY careful when cutting the silicone so you don't compromise the seal around the edges.
