At least for today ....
I have been trying to figure out how to work around the built in skimmer in my sump to have a real skimmer. Between the small size of my sump and the small size of my stand cabinet, nothing would fit. I'm selling my Aqua C Remora hang on because there isn't enough room to pull off the collection cup. It's been VERY frustrating!
Found the Tunze skimmers with the really small footprint and started to get some hope, but even that one was 1/4" too big for the right side of the sump.
So yesterday in Kermit's we spent almost 2 hours trying different ideas and measuring skimmers and totally solved the problem!
I pulled out all the filtration stuff in the large, center section of my 3 part sump and replaced it with a Nautilus filter hanging off the back of the sump. And right there in the middle, big and pretty, is my new Tunze 9005 skimmer already foaming up.
I'm soooooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKS, Dave!!!
