Day 9 Hyposalinity

I am in day 9 of hyposalinity rather my fish are. My tank is a 125 gal. I have had up for 18 years and had ick on and off for a very long time. So it was time to try to rid it of the parasite. I didn't have a large tank for a HT so this is what I did. I bought a Coleman 40 gal. cooler and set it up. All is well, having to watch my pH daily fish are eating well. My 125 is fallow. I have never tried hypo but hope it works for you. I have used copper with success though.

Me too Sunny, I spent more money than the fish cost, but I can't stand to them them scratch and flash. Only 2 of the 5 in the cooler has ever showed the parasites on their exterior but if one has ick then the tank has ick. saitoking

I am also working on a algae scrubber while my tank is fallow. Here are a few pictures.
