Daylight Savings Time

I have my Apex configured for DST. That works correctly. However, I have my lights programmed to turn on and off via the sun schedule. I would have expected my lights to turn on and off an hour differently now that we're on DST, to keep the time constant vs. GMT but that's not the case. Last week they turned on about 7:20 AM & they're doing the same this week even though 7:20 occurs one hour sooner.

You might try turning the lights outlet to Manual OFF, update, then turn it back to Auto. I don't know how much of the seasonal table it reads into memory but that might force it to reacquire the data.

Here's the programs

Actinic 1:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Sun 000/120 Then ON
If SumpTmp > RT+1.0 Then OFF
Min Time 015:00 Then OFF
If Power RightPwrBus Off 000 Then OFF

Actinic 2:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Sun 060/060 Then ON
If SumpTmp > RT+1.0 Then OFF
Min Time 015:00 Then OFF
If Power RightPwrBus Off 000 Then OFF

Main Light:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Sun 120/000 Then ON
If SumpTmp > RT+1.0 Then OFF
Min Time 015:00 Then OFF
If Power RightPwrBus Off 000 Then OFF

Thanks!

I gave it a shot. I'll see what time they turn off tonight.

BTW, running firmware 4.04L

Tried turning the lights off manually, updating the Apex and then putting the lights back in Auto mode. Same results so I just turned off DST. Any other suggestions?

Hi,

The seasonal table is fixed at certain values and the control statements are based upon displayed time. It operates this way as this is what most customers expect and want. I recommend that you just leave DST off if you prefer it to operate as you suggest.
