This tank was set up due to lack of space in some other tanks, so me and my roomate (also an avid reefer) decided to set this thing up. Alas, it's now proving insufficient spacewise as well...oh the problems...

Tanks 24x24x12
Teklight-4x24" T5-geismann's, 2 aquablue's, 1 pure actinic, 1 actinic +
Tunze 200 reefpak (surface skimmer w/tunze 9002. Skimmer got put on after running about 1 year skimmerless, put on just for the heck of it.)
Eheim 2213-used as a carbon reactor
3- K1's
tank has some live rock, majority of the space is taken up by a 6" tall eggcrate rack, below which grows a mass of chaeto (I have thusfar failed to convince the chaeto to stay below the eggcrate, leading to regular pruning.)
Sm Scopas tang, mandarin dragonet, and green coris wrasse. No direct feeding to fish, they just get leftovers and pick on the live stuff that grows in the chaeto masses.

Dosing is 2 part B-ionic, also iodide, magnesium, strontium, and occasionaly some MB7.
Water changes about twice a year, RODI mixed with coralife salt.

Thats a lot of eye candy... I want some.

Thanks! In a couple days I'll be putting some stuff up for sale, but haven't met the minimums so not yet :smurf:

Nice man!
At fist I thought that tanked looked a bit...dirty. But those are some nice frags

The first few pics were taken with a flash which always makes things just...grungy looking. But admittedly some of the earlier pics were when the frag rack sat on a huge clump of chaeto, and between it growing like crazy and the undersized pumps on the tank, I think there just wasn't enough flow. I've since added a MP10 on the tank and repositioned all of the koralia's that were on it. Still have a few frag plugs that have a translucent stringy crud growing on them, continuing to revive dip and scrape them clean with a razor so hopefully I'll win that war at some point soon.
Have been vodka/MB7 dosing lately which has also helped eliminate a lot of crud buildup. Still fine tuning how much is getting dropped in though.
Thanks for the kind words though! :bounce3::bounce2::bounce3:
