DC Pump Flow vs Power

I'm looking into buying one of the new DC pumps (waveline, diablo, etc) for a return on my 125g. Anyone know how much the power drops when the pumps are dialed down? I have room for the larger pump and the cost difference between them isn't that large but I don't want to buy the larger pump and run it at ~50% if it is more efficient to buy the smaller pump. I always like the option for higher flow in the future!

Thanks

I just got a Waveline DC-10000 II, it's mor powerful than. Need for my standard 120 gallon but I'd rather have too much power, and dial it back, than need more power and not have it... Seems I'm building a growing collection of pumps that didn't quite cut it and I figured this solves that problem.

I think I could eventually ramp the DC10000 to >80% power but need to redo my plumbing first... This beast wants a 1.5" inlet and a 1.25" outlet, my tank was plumbed in 1" so I'm getting cavitation microbubbles when I go above about 60% now... It's a great pump!

Same thing here but for the Diablo. It is incredibly strong. I run it at 50% for my 210. When I ramp it up one or two clicks on the controller my sump starts looking like a roaring rapids and my baffles cant keep up.

So what I'm actually looking for is a plot (or data) of the setting (orflow) vs power. Its unclear what the power is when the pump isn't running at the highest setting.

Thanks

I can't tell you the flow @ each setting but I can tell you the wattage.
Waveline DC 10000
1 - 26w 2 - 35W 3 - 48W 4 - 62w 5 - 77W 6 - 96w
Rounded off to the nearest digit.
