QUESTION ABOUT DC4HD'S! if you have four DC4HD'S and they are daisy chained together and the first one blows a fuse does the other three still receive the commands from the controller?
if not how do you get around this problem, can you run separate phone cords to each or what?
There are 2 fuses in the DC4HD. The large/replaceable 15 Amp fuse is used to protect the four outlets. The smaller/non user replaceable fuse is used to protect the internal circuits. If the large 15 Amp fuse blows then downstream DCXs will still receive commands. If the small internal fuse blows (never occurred yet - unless water was poured into DCX), then there is no downstream communication.
Ok what happens if a DC4 or DC4HD are on different circuits and one circuit trips a breaker or GFI? Will all DC4 units downstream on the telephone cable, lose communication with the Aquacontroller. I assume the remaining DC4's will be stuck in whatever state previous to the first DC4 loosing power? Is it possible to connect them like a hub?
