DC8 limits

I plan on using an AC3 Pro with a DC8 to control:

2 or 3 Icecap 250MH MH lights
300w supplemental lighting
300w misc. pumps & fans
heater
1/4hp chiller

Should I purchase more than one DC8? I'm concerned about the Icecaps mostly.

Thanks.

I think that is too much Amps, especially for the Icecap. I have 1DC4 for my Co2, heater, Night light and Kalk and 1 DC4HD for the MHs (250W and 400W), h2o change and AC. The DC8 for the pumps, fans and sump lights + misc.

Okay, so I'll get two DC8s for now, one dedicated to lighting, the second for everything else.

Another question - can the web server be disabled via telnet? I like the concept, but am nervous it could be a security risk. Security bugs are found all the time, and I'd hate to flash the AC3 as frequently as I have to use Windows Update.

Currently there is no on/off switch for the webserver; it is password protected though. You could use a router that only accepts requests from certain hosts, or set up a VPN, etc. if security is a concern.
