what would be better a aquamedic oceanlight 250w w/ 14k pheonix or a pfo mini pendant w/ pfo ballast and a 14k pheonix?

The PFO most likely has a better reflector. The oceanlight reflector hasn't been formally independantly tested to the best of my knowledge, however, the PFO out did the AB spacelight and the oceanlight is a "budget" version by AM. Additionally there are complaints about the oceanlight ballast out there (buzzing noises). Howevever the oceanlight is much prettier...personally I'd take the Reefoptix III+ setup, but whatever (I have both ROIIIs and PFOs)
