When i went home for noon, i checked on my fish and made sure everything was in working order.
Thats when i noticed my little clown fish being picked apart by my banded coral shrimp. Head was already gone. Im just furious, what could of killed him?

My water is good. And I only have 3 fish in the tank. We was full of life last night.

Here is what is in the tank

2 Cleaner Shrimp
14 Emerald Crabs
1 Banded Coral Shrimp (Boxer Shrimp)
4 Pepperment Shrimp
1 Clown
1 Pink Spotted Goby

Could one of these above kill my little clown?

Any ideas,
jps

How long has your tank been set up? How long has the Clown been in the tank? How big is the tank? What tests do you do and can you give us the results, please? Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, PH, and Alk.

Tank size 220
The 2 clowns have been in the big tank for 4 months
I dont hane the test results on me at work. But i do run the above test and calcium and magnesium at least once week
Tank has been up for 10 months.

I think its one of the emerald crabs,

An emerald crab could never catch much less kill a healthy fish. None of the livestock that you listed should have been able to kill your fish overnight if it was healthy. Was the other clown picking on it? If they weren't bonded, there's a chance the the other clown could have bullied it to death- or at least enough for the shrimp to grab it.

If your BCS is large, and your clowns are small, there is a very slim chance that it could have caught it and killed it.

The clowns got along great, I did see pink spotted goby go after him once,
But only once, I have 4 fish in the QT tank, and they are larger fish. And they will be going in the big tank this weekend.

That clown was very small, my girls loved that fish. It will not be easy telling them.

I doubt any of the above killed him, probably a disease or natural. If your parameters are good thts most likley the case.
