Dead Coral Paint.

It would probably work. I'd coat it with some clear resin after the paint dries. Better safe than sorry.

ok thanks for reply. but can you please tell where can i get resin?

yes surely i will be putting it in my display tank.

i would look for a resin that clearly says non toxic on it, but that might work if you are willing t risk it. ( i wouldn't)

Talk to an auto shop locally : you can get two-part epoxy paint, in virtually any colour you want... Paint and epoxy, all in one!

The thing is, nothing in your tank stays clean. Once it's covered in coraline (or algae) you won't see the paint. If you leave it alone, it will blend in with the rocks. After all, a lot of our rocks are just dead coral anyway.

Thanks guys for the reply.. ok i will talk to my cousin who deals in auto paints... hope he will help me put.

For all you are going to spend on resins, etc, why not just buy a plastic piece to approximate what you want?

Most epoxies are going to yellow out somewhat on you as well as be a good surface for algae to grow on. At least with a plastic piece you can easily clean it.
