Dead fish returns to life

Last night I spotted my 6line dead in a hole in the rock with spider webs around him. I took my feeder and blew a little water his way. He did not move. No eye movement, no flipper movement. He was dead. I would have pulled him out except I had remembered that some fish go to sleep and spin a cocoon around themselves to mask there scent. But I had never seen him do this before.

This morning he was gone from the hole. Swimming around. What a great lesson for the family.

yep, some wrasses and parrot fish do sleep in a cocoon of mucus. its kinda funny when you find them,

keep a eye on that hole, he may return there every night like my wrasse does
