Considering there isn't a lot of rock that was established with beneficial bacteria it does sound like it was simply too much for the tank, especially with the addition of the new rock. I know every one is saying you need more rock but be very careful how you add it because live rock will cause a spike due to things dying off from transit. A thought would be to maybe put some of the MarinePure in the sump until you are able to build your rock up in the actual tank. You won't see the die off issue and it will give you additional surface area for the bacteria. IF you do decide to do this I would rinse it very well just to be certain it is as clean as possible.

You could house the clowns in a QT or temp visit to LFS while you let the new rock cycle.
