Dead Polyps?

Hi All,

New to Zoas. Are these dead polyps on the right? If so, I notice a neon green/yellow algae has taken hold at the base of the polyps. Could this have caused the problem?

Thanks for the advice. I just hope i didn't glue that plug down to the point that I can't pull it back out!

I also searched "melting zoas" but came up empty in looking for pics. is this ^ what they look like dead? should I remove them? I came home to see this a few weeks ago, and haven't noticed it spread, but the dead stuff hasn't decayed at all either.

your pic don't show dead decaying or melting Z's just closed.

I think those things on the right with red bumps are a type of macroalgae.
