Dead Yellow leather

I had a yellow leather for about a month. It was acclimated well and seemed to be doing great. Then within a few days it began to develop a brown slime. I blew it off and all seemed ok. The later that same day the slime was back. Within 24hrs the coral browed out and died. When I removed and inspected it I found a Large Mussle under the coral. It appeared to have grown there then when it got too big it seperated the coral from the base. The leather was about 4" x 3". The mussle was about 2" x 1.5" and imbedded under the footing of the leather. Anyone else seen this? I pulled the mussle out and sent it to the bottom of my tank. Within an hour it was consumed by my cleanup crew!

What other corals are in your tank? It sounds like chemical warfare between the leather and a different family of corals.
