Deciding on skimmer, plz advise....

i'm starting a 40g tank and plan to add some corals later on. i'm looking to buy a skimmer. my choices are the remora C, the reef octopus bh 300f or the 800s. which would better suit my tank?

I cant speak for the other models but the Remora I had was not a good skimmer at all.

Vertex in-80 if you have a sump. Great skimmer for the money

no sump. looking hob of tank. this is the only equipment that is slowing my progression down. i'm really torn between the octo 800 and 300. anyone thinks this will be over kill for a 40g?

If u have to go hob, I would go with the warner marine h series. Very close in price point to the above and a monster skimmer
