well i have decided to do my tank differently. so far i have a nice tank, but i have always had to do what i can afford and do things fast so i have a "kind of a cool tank". i did it for immediate satisfaction. now i am bored. when i started a year ago....it was soooo exciting, buying rock, corals, fish, tank supplies........but i now have a full tank and the best of supplies i could buy on a small budget.
after alot of carefull thought and reserch.......i've decided to kind of start over. i want to buy better equipment, nicer rock(some nice larger pieces of tonga) better lighting, better fitting sump, reef oct skimmer, etc.
my biggest obstical is going to be saving money and doing this slowly to do the set up right. patience is not one of my strong suits....lol
i want to do a foam rock wall and then pick my rock to work best with the tank, get new sand bed. i think my best bet is to accumulate all my specific wants and needs and just stockpile it,then when i have achieved all important parts,do a full tear down and take a week to set up my new tank and hope to god that i end up happy with my choices but most of all i have a happy tank where my creation and creativity benifit my underwater world.
