Decisions, decisions!!!!! Feed back please

Personally, it's a matter of finances. How much can you afford and how long your willing to wait and save up. Nobody can tell you one way or the other unless we can see into your checkbook. If you have money to burn...go with the tank and stand setup you've been drooling over. If moneys tight, go economy and tell everyone you wanted to support the LFS. Either way, you'll have a great slice of the ocean in your living room.

KMP, thats what I'm fighting with. I know what I want, but the shipping seems like an awful lot to spend to me. I just keep coming back to that. I think I will ask John if he can quote a tank in the same dimensions as the DSA tank.

wpnorton, Yeah, funding is a big part. Can I afford it? Yes I can. Do I want to spend all the extra money involved, thats another story.

Honestly, I really want to have a fairly unique tank, and to build a new system. Those are the two things I get from buying the DSA. But I don't know if now is the right time to start a project like that when its so easy to swap my 125 for a 180 and call it a day.

I'm waiting to hear back from DSA today on the exact crate size and weight so I can get a better idea on shipping. I'm also going to ask John for some other specs. Either way, I'm pulling the trigger on one or the other on Friday :D

Lets change that, and make the raffle money for "Jim's sweet tank freight fund"

I'll get Paul to call over at DSA and have them donate one of their tanks to our club ;)

:D
