Decisions to make and a plan of action.

Okay I have a lot of "fish" related stuff going on and I have ich in one tank. I am not in a rush and I want to do this right. Need a plan so I can start the clock so to speak. My situation.. I have a 55g long mixed reef tank which has ich now. I also have a 20g long hospital tank and a 10 gallon QT. Both have their own heaters\filters and are currently empty (no water). Also I have a sea horse tank (species only, doesn't have ick, closed loop), and a 180g tank with a 40g sump cycling.

Considering the tanks I have to work with here is some more information on the ich in the 55g. Tank is 9 months old and the ich was first seen about a week after the tang was added.

Fish & time in tank:
2x blue green chromis (Both in tank 7-8 months)
1 male & 1 female melanurus wrasse (Both in tank 6 months)
1 potters angel fish (In tank 4 months)
1 Powder brown tang (In tank 2 weeks)

Corals and inverts all consist of softies, lps, sps, starfish, shrimp, crabs, snails. Specifics on request if needed.

PBT was QT'd and given copper / treated with prazi at a LFS previously going in my display. I don't think it was done long enough. From now on I'll just do it in my own QT tanks for future newcomers.. Well he looked great. Literally a flawless powder brown tang and eats anything like a champ. Unfortunately the other morning I noticed white spots on the fins and body. Ever since, I see just a few dots on him and still eats like a pig. The other fish seem unaffected as well, at least to the human eye. My plan is for all my fish aside seahorses to eventually end up in my 180.

Complications for treatment. Both wrasses need a sand bed. Angel does not do well with copper. However these fish appear to be 100% unaffected.

I was thinking about moving the 2 chromis and 1 tang to the 20L and run cupramine. Then put the 2 wrasses and angel in the 10g with a sandbed to monitor them for now? Then maybe do the TTM moving them into the 180 on the last move, after weeks of observation (Maybe get another 20L and beg for mercy to the wife.. rather not though). That would start the clock on going fishless for the inverts/coral/LR/LS in the 55g to remove the ich there. I was thinking maybe moving some of the LR from the 55 to the sump in the 180 also to help cycle the tank. Of course that means introducing ich to the new tank but it shouldn't matter since they both would be on the same fishless timer right?

So.. Any input? Should I go another approach? Ideas? I'll be sure to follow up with pictures.

If you're gonna do TTM on the wrasses and angel, then do an extra transfer and put them into observation, not into the 180, just in case. Cuz what if you somehow messed up and now the 180 has it? If I read ur plan correctly you want to observe those three, then as it nears the fallow end you want to TTM and then get them into the display, right? Id reverse it and do TTM, extra transfer and then observe.

But why not just do TTM on all of them instead of Cu on the other three and TTM on the wrasses and angel?
