Well i was at the pet store today and i was looking at a Deco kit 3.
The specs are
* Compact Fluorescent Perch-Light Fixture 18W provides direct illumination over the tank.
* Dual Reef Compact Fluorescent Lamp supplies 7,400K Daylight (which simulates bright light on a sunny tropical day) on one half and the other half 14,000K True Actinic (providing blue light for photosynthetic corals).
* Rapids Mini Power Filter provides the best in mechanical, chemical and biological filtration...aerating and filtering the water every hour. Super-efficient, delivering 80 gallons per hour flow rate!
Here is a pic of it.

Well i am kinda interested in it but i just want to see if anybody else has had one and can tell me about it. Well thanks later

HOORAY!

Someone else has seen one! I thought I was the only reef nerd who had one! I tried searching under TAAM (the manufacturer of the kit) with no luck. I've had mine running for 5 days now - the light and pump won't provide enough heat to keep it warm if you keep your house cold... other than that, I started a thread about mine:

I got mine for $70 (and the LR was free!). I took the top off of the filter (vibration noise). I had to use a foam bath toy (the letter H) to wedge between the back of the tank and the tankside of the HOB filter (vibration and positioning). I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

I would say that anyone looking into a "pico" set up should be reminded how all water quality issues are made dramatically more significant...

If you decide to get one, please do everyone a favor and post any modifications and other wisdom our way!
