Deep blue hydromax = JUNK!

I purchased two of these kits from premium a few months back. Both kits would suck air in the line when I would clean the substrate in my tank due to the fittings not sealing properly. With both kits the fittings cracked and are complete junk.

I had the python kits before (I think that's the name, the green fitting ones) and they lasted 10+ years, that is until my dog ate the hose when he would chase stuff getting sucked out the line.

Am I a isolated incident? Do you still onlyl carry this brand? Any idea if the python fittings would fit these hoses? Paid to much money for these to toss them away and start over again

I think python is back on the market again. Deep blue is cheap Chinese junk, as you already know.

Sorry to hear about the issues with the Deep Blue. We picked up the Deep Blue brand because as mentioned above Python was off the market for a little while, but now they are indeed back. I agree that Deep Blue isn't of the highest quality, and for a cleaner the Python is certainly a better choice.
