I've never had an anchor coral before. I got a nice chunk today. Is there any differance between anchor and hammer corals? What do you guys suggest for flow, lighting, placement of these corals. Any tips will be appreciated.

Euphyllia ancora and Euphyllia parancora have the trade names Hammer, Anchor, and Anvil Coral.
Its a very 'moderate' coral.
Moderate light- though tolerant of bright light if acclimated slowly, Moderate water flow- too strong will damage the tissue, tentacles should gently flow, but not thrash around.
They are more sensitive to KH and pH than many other common LPS; if they close more than a day or so, its probably time for a water change.

Mostly the seller deciding to call it "anchor" makes it anchor.

non-branching is E. anchora, vs. branching being E. paranchora, but any of the common names could be applied to either.

(did I get that right? ;) )

One more question. Do these eat chunks of food, or will cyclopeeze suffice? I tries dropping a small chunk of silverside on him today while I was feeding my other lps and it was rejected. I know its a bit early, but I'd like to what first hand experience has to say on the matter.

silversides are too large for most LPS. Even those that will accept them have trouble digesting the head and bones. Best bet would be mysis and cyclopodia.
