just curiuos if anyone out there has experience with putting a small Dehumidifier or maybe some of that damp rid stuff in the bottom of your stand with the sump and all to cut down on all that moist air around all the pumps and what not?
Don't know about others but what I did was put a fan by one of the holes the wiring comes in at and the air blows out the other hole for the wiring. I thought of use the damp rid in the stand but would want a chance of that stuff getting into the sump.
yeah and that was a concern of mine on the Damprid but then i read some forums where people are actually dossing it for Ca wouldnt be my choice but if they can dose it i cant imagine a little in a stand would hurt im just not sure if it would absorb that ammount of moisture that i have.
I run a small fan in my sump to help with air circulation. It helps prevent mold from developing. I also run a dehumidifier in the same room as the tank to cut down on humidity in the house.
