I purchased a MC500 about 8 months ago and i have been running it in my tank for 6. Now at first i thought it was amazing and its was skimming real thick skim. Now I have to clean it every week and after cleaning it takes a day to start skimming and skims a bit and than don't produce any bubbles. Also i have to keep the air line all the way open just to get enough air down there. i have pulled it all apart thinking the airline was clogged by salt creep but nope.
Its come to the point where i am jealous of my roomates euroreef because he has never had to clean it and i am thinking about re-doing my sump and plumbing now cause i am fed up. maybe i missed something but any suggestions would be very much appreciated
