This is my third try posting this, I'm not sure what seems to be going wrong. I'm brand new here and the last post I made now says thread unavailable to you. Anyhooo....
Last week I purchased a coral from my LFS, I thought it was a sun coral. It took me a couple days but eventually I got it to open up by target feeding. When it did open the tentacles were not yellow like a sun coral. They are clear with tiny white specs. I did some reading and I don't think it is a dendro because it doesn't stay open all the time and usually opens up in the evening. I am thinking maybe Balanophyllia, but I'm unsure. I'm going to once again attempt to add a picture of it mostly open and another of it mostly closed.
If this post is another epic fail then I'm probably going to go back to just cruising Google or wait until Thursday when my LFS opens again to talk to them. So that being said fingers crossed this works!
