dendro imports

Just read a rumor that dendros are no longer being imported from Japan, anyone care to link any truth to this, much appreciated.

I dont think any coral has EVER been able to be legally imported from Japan.....

speaking of dendros.....why are they so hard to find?

They are from deep waters and most of them are in Japanese waters where collecting is illegal.

well, they are hard to find because they grow slowly, and does anyone know if they are being banned?

gee i hope not!
One of my LFS has had 2 frags in the past couple months.
It's the only LFS out of 5 that I go to that has ever had any.
I scooped mine up right away.
On the growth rate, mine has already develpoed a new polyp and is growing fantasically.
