Densimeter broke fall in the aquarium

Hello i find this densimeter broke in the botton of my aquarium. I dont know since when it was. There is a red thing between the water and the little balls. Do you think it s toxic?

Do you mean a Hydrometer for specific gravity? If so, should be no concerns. The red is likely plastic or wax to keep the metal weights in place. Just remove the broken piece and throw away and you should be fine.

I would guess the red is plastic or wax. I would imagine relatively safe.
