They can be trained to eat frozen foods. Not always an easy thing to do though, from what I've read. And I'm pretty sure they've been captive bred.

Matt Pedersen wrote an informative article about weaning them, IIRC, a few years back. That said, I don't ever recall seeing them for sale of his website.
Definitely a fish that I'd be willing to let munch away if I had a large enough tank filled with Millie colonies.

Does anyone have experience with Goat Fish? I would think a 180 with 2-3 inches of sand would support one but I could be wrong.

BlueZoo Aquatics has those filefish for sale along with a "starter pack." The basic idea is that for $50 you get the fish and an SPS frag. You have to wean the filefish off of SPS and onto other food. But, you've got to be OK with the process and that he's going to munch on your SPS for a while.

I think the success they've had has been to keep them in a nano tank by themselves while you get them off their natural diet.

May be worth a try for some of you who are good at SPS and can frag some sacrificial pieces for the fish.

If they ate digi, slimmers, or bird's nest I would be set. My Milipora doesn't grow as fast.

When doing further reading in BlueZoo they seem to suggest that the Orange Spoted Filefish also likes montipora. If this is true I think I may set up my frag tank with the red monti I trim back and slowly get the fish off its natural diet. This fish seems pretty intense but I think with the right prep it may be worth a shot.
