derasa clam placement

which way should this clam face the flow...i dont have too much flow just want to know which direction it should face,,,,it looks to have an opening on one end and a tube like on other end ..looks like is was expelling from this end ...i hope this makes sense...i can put it facing either end...which is better...or doesn't it matter....

they will orient themselves how they like. if one way isn't working for them, they have the ability to shimmy around.

my derasa doesn't seem to have a preference as to the direction of the flow, but it will line itself up wit my LEDs.
