design for sump

Okay, so after the RC meeting, I am convinced of my need for a sump. I am going to try to find an overflow box this weekend. I am thinking about a ten gallon aquarium for the sump(it will fit under the stand nicely) Is that large enough? Am I better with a larger one? Also, can anyone point me in the direction of some drawings or pictures of how the baffles should look? Thanks,

For a really simple design in a 10G, check this out. No bubble trap baffles, but looks like it works.

The larger the better, it will add to the tanks bio-stability.
