Detached Leather

I have a leather that detached from it rock while I was moving it over the weekend. Fortunately it was only attached at a very small point. The flesh doesn't appear torn or anything. I know where I want to attach it in the tank. This leather is about 4" in diameter.

How do I attach it to the rocks. Will super glue attach to the leathery flesh. I'm at a loss.

super glue wont work on leathers. I think that the best way to attach a leather coral is to put a tupperware container over the coral with a piece of rock. this allows no flow to blow it around and gives it a chance to adhere to the rock. some people even put a toothpick through the leather into the rock to help it along.

ive found that elastic bands/string and glue doesnt work well at all.

Depend on the shape of the leather, some irregular shaped ones can easily be rubber banded to the rock until it attaches to it. Others I'd try just nudge it into a crevice of a rock. You can use a blade and carve the bottom of the trunk to fit into the rock you want to, it won't kill them, basically like fragging them.
