Determing where to mount SPS

How do you determine where the best place is to mount your SPS?

I've heard some move it around and see how it does in different locations in the tank. Every time I do that it seems that the fish, snails or crabs knock it over and I'm constantly picking it up. Thus the coral is not really giving the best indicator. Or do you just take the best guess of where you want that particular color/texture and mount it there?

I personally just pick a spot in the tank where there isn't that color of frag and glue it to the rock. SPS up high and LPS/zoas on the sand.

It depends on the type of SPS too. some sps are more tolerant of lower light while other require higher light. same for flow.

they will grow and color depending on their enviroment and flow. place them in a place that looks good, and leave them alone.
