Detritus removal methods

Just short of pulling all of my rockwork out and giving it a good swish, what methods are there to deal with it?
My flow is pretty brisk, but there are still areas that tend to stagnate and/or collect detritus. What methods are people using to maintain those pristine and clean aquariums?

turkey baster every other day, i try to blow out the rocks and where the junk settles

+1 on the Turkey baster/blaster method. Run carbon and floss. I also do a water change while all the stuff is floating around.

+1 with turkey baster,and while siphoning water out I put the tube on the rocks to pull out detritus out.
