Development of Coralline

Hey guys,
Im sorta new to the hobby, I've got a 30 gallon that's been established for three months. Anyway, during the cycle I got the normal diatom bloom and then the normal algae bloom that covered my rocks. But I was wondering, how can I introduce Coralline? Will it 'show up' like the other algaes? Or do I have to get a piece of LR with some already on it?

Also, I've read a few articles about the "algae cycle." Does anyone have any other resources on this phenomenon? Posted links are appreciated

Coraline will enter your aquarium many ways. You can introduce a nice piece of LR if you wish, but it will also come in on frag plugs or rocks, snail shells etc... If you keep your cal,alk and mag in a good range it will end up growing like crazy.
