devils finger flow question.

picked up about a week ago. fingers do perk up towards the light with the small tentacles(didn't know what else to call them). starting to extend a little. I have two tunze 6045 on the tops of the tank pointing across lengthwise. 1 in front and 1 in back. it's lit with 20k 250w mh and a 30 gallon tank. what can I do for better extension. leather might be too big for my tank as it is 8-10" in diameter.

I just don't have that good extension and mine looks like it could be larger than yours. might take to the lfs for credit if I can't get it right.

Yours looks fine to me. It's probably just acclimating to your lights and flow. Just be wary of aleopathy in such a small tank and keep up with your water changes.

I change 5-10 gallons a week. actually just waiting for lfs to make room for this bad boy.
