DFS photosynthetic RED sponge

Anyone bought this yet from them? Curious about the actual color of this. I have the JF purple kind but would love to add the red to my collection. Anyone?

Well DUH!!! :hammer: Not sure how I didn't get that.

I bought it. It was just like the picture. It did not make it, but There are now tiny bits of a reddish orange sponge looking stuff growing here and there. Am hoping it's the same stuff, but the bits are too small yet to tell for sure.

Are you aware that some sponges can not ever be exposed to the air? Not all but some have this issue. I'm not familiar with the ones that do this or don't. I've got several encrusting sponges and they for the most part don't have any problems being out of the water. It does seem that only the ball or plant type sponges have this
