DI Resin question

Just bought some DI resin to replace what's in my RO unit.

Opened up the third chamber:



Problem arose when I tried to open up the cartridge.



Couldn't get it open for the life of me. It's a Spectra Pure di-mb-ci-10hc

Do they make one use cartridges? I tried for probably a half an hour and couldn't get it open. I'm assuming I probably have to buy a refillable cartridge.

Yes they do make single use di cartridges one of the lfs should have a refillable cartridge

Check with FAOIS for the refillable cartridge, its the cheapest I've seen local

Does anyone remember the name of that new fish store in Largo? I think we were saying the other month it looks like the are using a bunch of rockin reefs old equipment.

I think your talking about "A Tropical Reef" on 66th Street. They are not up and running yet, but you can get RO water and some supplies there after 4PM. Their website is atropicalreef.com

I believe what you have in the pic above is a refillable cartridge. We have cases of the same cartridge here in the shop.
